Stevie Nicks early version of “Wild Heart”

Apparently it is a video watching week,  I just love watching this clip of Stevie Nicks singing while getting her makeup done for a Rolling Stone photo shoot. She is so genuinely enjoying the moment, such a true artist. Not too many genuine singers exist anymore…I love her spirit! Here she is on the cover of Rolling Stone Sept.3, 1981…

Madi Diaz “Let’s GO” live in the acoustic van

Madi Diaz has an amazing voice…singing her song “let’s GO” for Nashville’s lightning 100 in the acoustic van at Bonnaroo 2009. Now recording an album you can get more info on her myspace page http://www.myspace.com/madidiaz Ah, make me want to take a road trip! Redwoods please!

Karen Elson sings “The Ghost Who Walks” Live

Basically just a beautiful haunting song by former model Karen Elson filmed live with a frozen band (that includes Jack White) behind her, i love it!  Here she is featured in Lula Magazine, my favorite. The dark, vintage look reminds me of my view camera days…

Sigur Ros “Glosoli”

I had a conversation with a friend of mine who mentioned that this video (one of my favorites) was extremely “depressing”.         Although there is a questionable ending, does he follow the others into the sunset? Or fall into the depths? Even still, depressing never crossed my mind.  Besides an amazing song, it is beautifully filmed, like never never land landed on the set of Braveheart…
