Back to the Farm
Back to the farm recently, for long beautiful days with new friends. I appreciate all the details! Even at 5:30am. Thank you to the Eagle that visited me at night, the gentle Bull that nudged my shoulder during filming, and the SUN who proved that we are blessed in 2011.
The Orchids
Thinking about how soon I can get back to the Northwest Coast. For now, Denver is a rewarding 70 degrees. Time for the hammock!
Vashon Island!
Is it possible that I want to live on a farm? After visiting several on Vashon Island, I am going to start by planting a tiny garden in the back of my house. Not enough room for the perfect brown cows I saw, free range chickens, bees, greenhouses full of seeded plants ( I LOVE the smell of greenhouses.) But a girl can and should dream…and how can you not when you are shacked up in a very old barn all alone? Complete with an art studio & view of Mt. Rainier it was by far one of the most enchanting places I have ever stayed!
Things I love…
I got an anonymous inspirational email telling me to think about the things I love (as opposed to the things I hate) So, that is what I did and I have been smiling all day. Turns out I love running on the beach, road trips, listening to an old Monkees album early in the morning, buying craft supplies from Michael’s, gluten free pizza & beer for dinner, and posting photos of my days…
